New Jersey High School Volleyball - Montclair over Newark Academy
September 18, 2024: Montclair, NJ 07042 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) and the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), observed Montclair's volleyball team top Newark Academy by a tally of 2-0.
The Mounties (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Nutley beat Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ), 2-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Minutemen meet the Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions (Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 19. Newark Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Nutley (Nutley, NJ).
