The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats (Land O' Lakes, FL) and the visiting Foundation Christian Academy Panthers (Valrico, FL), witnessed Academy at the Lakes's football squad edge Foundation Christian Academy by a tally of 18-12.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sports Leadership & Management (Tampa, FL). The Spartans enter the Sunshine State - Gulf (8 Man) contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Sports Leadership & Management got by City of Life Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL), 52-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Riverview Academy Barracudas (Riverview, FL) in a 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 26. Foundation Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Barracudas enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 58-18 non-league loss to Four Corners (Davenport, FL).
