September 18, 2025: Animas, NM 88020 The Animas Panthers walloped the visiting Dora Coyotes football team by a score of 56-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) in a 6-Man District 2 (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 26. Animas will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Steers come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 60-0 non-league win over Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM).
With the defeat, Dora drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM) to meet the Blue/Lady Blue in a 6-Man District 1 (6 Man) test on Friday, September 26. The Blue/Lady Blue come into the test with a record of 1-2. Roy/Mosquero lost 66-12 in their recent league challenge against Grady (Grady, NM)
