The Beachside Barracudas got by the visiting Bishop Kenny Crusaders football team by a score of 35-31 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Barracudas play the Tocoi Creek Toros (St. Augustine, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. Beachside will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.

The Crusaders (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Parker (Jacksonville, FL). The Braves come into the 3A District 4 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Parker was nipped by ED White (Jacksonville, FL), 54-14, in a non-league test.
