Oklahoma High School Football - Marshall falls to Elk City
September 18, 2025: Oklahoma City, OK 73120 The Elk City Elks felled the host Marshall Bears football team by a score of 42-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Elks face the Cache Bulldogs (Cache, OK) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Elk City will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 42-7 non-league loss to Sulphur (Sulphur, OK).
The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Guthrie (Guthrie, OK). The Bluejays go into the 5A District 2 test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Guthrie topped Blanchard (Blanchard, OK), 48-7, in a non-league test.
