The Washington Eagles football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Furr Brahmans to 9 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Scarborough for a 4A-1 Region III District 11 test on Friday, September 26. Washington will face a Spartans team coming off a 34-12 league win over Northside (Houston, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
