California High School Football - Paloma Valley can't hold off Hillcrest

September 18, 2025: Menifee, CA 92584

Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Paloma Valley Wildcats (Menifee, CA), 46-42 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Hillcrest improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Trojans host Arlington (Riverside, CA) to play the Lions in a Sunbelt challenge on Friday, October 3. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Arlington lost 41-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Colton (Colton, CA)

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange Vista (Perris, CA). The Coyotes go into the Ivy challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Orange Vista nipped Vista (Vista, CA), 42-7, in a non-league challenge.
