Tennessee High School Football - Trezevant crushed by South Gibson

September 18, 2025: Medina, TN 38355

The South Gibson Hornets walloped the visiting Trezevant Bears football team by a score of 45-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets play the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) in a 4A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, September 26. South Gibson will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Choctaws go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 56-27 league loss to Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN).

The Bears (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Hillcrest (Memphis, TN). The Vikings come into the 2A Region 8 test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Hillcrest was routed by Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (Memphis, TN), 44-2, in a league test.
