Connecticut High School Football - New Britain trounces Hall/Conard
September 18, 2025: New Britain, CT 06051 In Thursday's non-league match, the host New Britain Golden Hurricanes football squad scored a decisive 46-6 victory over the Hall/Conard Warchiefs.
The Golden Hurricanes (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Jesuits enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Fairfield Prep walloped Xavier (Middletown, CT), 35-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warchiefs now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Simsbury for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. Hall/Conard will play a Trojans team coming off a 20-7 non-league loss to Newington Co-op (Newington, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
