September 18, 2025: Camdenton, MO 65020 In Thursday's non-league match, the Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) volleyball squad overcame the host Camdenton Lakers (Camdenton, MO), by a count of 2-0.
Next up, the Crusaders battle the Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 23. Helias will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO).

Match Summary
The Helias Lady Crusaders would play an away match at Camdenton, but had a little trouble in traveling to get as their bus shut down on the way out of town. Their fearless parents came to the rescue and swooped in and got all players, managers & coaches to the match on time. In the first set play would see both teams trading points until Helias took a Time out down 12-13. It would continue to be a tight game till 19-19 before Helias would finish out the set for a 25-19 win. In the 2nd Set Helias jumped out to a 6-0 lead before Camdenton called a time out. It would not matter as Helias go up 12 -2, then 17-7.
The Lady Sader's stayed hot and focused finishing out the set for a 25-14 set & match win. Helias would score 31 points off serve, Camdenton 15. Helias had 7 Aces with Camdenton 1.
