September 18, 2025: Washington, DC 20007 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) and the host Georgetown Visitation Prep Cubs (Washington, DC), saw Potomac School's soccer squad knock off Georgetown Visitation Prep by a count of 2-0.
The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD). The Gators enter the ISL battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart Georgetown Day (Washington, DC), 2-2, in a league match.
The Cubs now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elizabeth Seton for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 23. Georgetown Visitation Prep will meet a Roadrunners team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Roadrunners record now stands at 2-1.
