South Carolina High School Football - Palmetto tops Belton-Honea Path
September 18, 2025: Williamston, SC 29697 The Palmetto Mustangs football squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Belton-Honea Path Bears to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph's Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Palmetto will meet a Knights squad coming off a 34-13 non-league win over Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Belton-Honea Path drops to 3-1 on the year. The Bears host Chapman (Inman, SC) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Chapman won 22-13 in their recent non-league game against Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC)
