Georgia High School Football - Etowah defeats Cherokee
September 18, 2025: Canton, GA 30114 In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Etowah Eagles football team scored a nice 34-6 win over the Cherokee Warriors.
With the win, Etowah advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 2-2.
The Warriors now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Sequoyah for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. Cherokee will play a Chiefs team coming off a 34-12 non-league win over Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-0.
