South Carolina High School Football - Daniel sneaks past Clinton
September 18, 2025: Central, SC 29630 The Daniel Lions football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Clinton Red Devils to 14 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Daniel will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 14-13 non-league win over Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Clinton drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Red devils host Union County (Union, SC) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Union County won 34-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Chester (Chester, SC)
