North Carolina High School Football - Dixon knocks off West Carteret
September 18, 2025: Holly Ridge, NC 28445 Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC), 36-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Dixon advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 4-0.
The Patriots now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Swansboro for a non-league match on Thursday, September 25. West Carteret will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 26-0 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 4-0.
