In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Franklinton Red Rams football team scored a nice 36-12 win over the Riverside-Durham Pirates.

In their next game, the Red Rams play the Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Franklinton will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 40-0 non-league loss to Sanderson (Raleigh, NC).

With the defeat, Riverside-Durham drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Felton Grove (Apex, NC) to meet the Galaxy in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Galaxy come into the test with a record of 3-1. Felton Grove won 42-14 in their recent non-league test against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC)
