September 18, 2025: Midlothian, VA 23113 The Monacan Chiefs football team scored 72 points and held the host James River Midlothian Rapids to 7 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Thursday.
In their next game, the Chiefs face the Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Monacan will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 35-0 non-league loss to L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA).
The Rapids (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Clover Hill was overwhelmed by Manchester (Midlothian, VA), 35-8, in a non-league outing.
