Florida High School Football - St. Petersburg Catholic thwarted by Jesuit
September 18, 2025: St. Petersburg, FL 33710 Jesuit Tigers (Tampa, FL) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host St. Petersburg Catholic Barons (St. Petersburg, FL), 30-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Jesuit improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Tigers host Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 0-2.
The Barons now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Calvary Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. St. Petersburg Catholic will play a Warriors team coming off a 41-20 non-league loss to Clearwater Central Catholic (Clearwater, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
