Virginia High School Football - South Lakes sneaks past West Potomac
September 18, 2025: Alexandria, VA 22307 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting South Lakes Seahawks football squad scored a close 17-14 win over the West Potomac Wolverines.
In their next game, the Seahawks play the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. South Lakes will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA).
The Wolverines (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Fairfax tipped Chantilly (Chantilly, VA), 24-14, in a non-league test.
