September 18, 2025: Sacramento, CA 95831 River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, River City improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The Raiders host Wood (Vacaville, CA) to face the Wildcats in a test on Monday, September 29. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Cougars now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Antelope for a challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Kennedy will meet a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Center (Antelope, CA). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.
