September 18, 2025: Monroe, WA 98272 Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Newport - Bellevue Knights (Bellevue, WA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Monroe improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Bearcats host Everett (Everett, WA) to face the Seagulls in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Seagulls go into the test with a record of 2-1. Everett lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA)
Next, the Knights meet the Skyline Spartans (Sammamish, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Newport - Bellevue will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA).
