Illinois High School Soccer - Beardstown knocks off Riverton
September 18, 2025: Beardstown, IL 62618 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Beardstown Tigers soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 win over the Riverton Hawks.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Macomb (Macomb, IL). The Bombers enter the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Macomb was overwhelmed by Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillsboro for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Riverton will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Perryville (Perryville, MO). The Hawks record now stands at 3-5.
