Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), witnessed Valley's soccer team knock off Belen by a final score of 5-2.

With the triumph, Valley moves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Chargers in a 4A District 6 match on Saturday, September 20. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 3-5. Albuquerque Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
