Kansas High School Soccer - Newton knocks off Maize
September 18, 2025: Newton, KS 67114 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS) and the visiting Maize Eagles (Maize, KS), saw Newton's soccer squad knock off Maize by a count of 3-0.
The Railroaders (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Center (Valley Center, KS). The Hornets enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Valley Center tipped Goddard (Goddard, KS), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 23. Maize will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 0-7 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Buhler (Buhler, KS).
