New York High School Soccer - Westmoreland/Oriskany knocks off Mt. Markham
September 18, 2025: West Winfield, NY 13491 Westmoreland/Oriskany Bulldogs (Westmoreland, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Mt. Markham Mustangs (West Winfield, NY), 6-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Westmoreland/Oriskany moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY) to confront the Indians in a CSC Division II outing on Saturday, September 20. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Poland Tornadoes (Poland, NY) in a CSC Division III test, on Saturday, September 20. Mt. Markham will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Tornadoes come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Little Falls (Little Falls, NY).
