The Central City Bison got by the host Aurora Huskies softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bison meet the Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Central City will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Bluejays go into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 14-12 non-league loss to Aquinas (David City, NE).

The Huskies (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Centura (Cairo, NE). The Centurions go into the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Centura got by Ord (Ord, NE), 10-1, in a non-league battle.
