The Walker Wolverines triumphed over the visiting Galloway Scots softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Thursday's league battle.

The Wolverines now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodland for a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. Walker will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 16-7 non-league loss to Adairsville (Adairsville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Galloway moves to 3-7 on the season. The Scots host Lakeside (Atlanta, GA) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 24. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 8-9. Lakeside won 12-0 in their recent league outing against Tri-Cities (East Point, GA)
