Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Grand Island Central Catholic upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Crusaders host Wahoo (Wahoo, NE) to confront the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 23. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 12-6. Wahoo lost 9-4 in their recent non-league match against Ralston (Ralston, NE)

In their next game, the Titans confront the Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 23. Twin River will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE).
