The South Mountain Jaguars volleyball squad (Phoenix, AZ), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ)

With the win, Basha improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Bears travel to Perry (Gilbert, AZ) to encounter the Pumas in a 6A - Premier battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Pumas go into the battle with a record of 16-8. Perry won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)

Next, the Jaguars meet the Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A - Metro contest, on Tuesday, September 23. South Mountain will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Bruins enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Kellis (Glendale, AZ).
