Kansas High School Volleyball - Burlingame over Herington
September 18, 2025: Burlingame, KS 66413 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Burlingame Bearcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Herington Railroaders.
The Bearcats (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Heights (Allen, KS). The Wildcats come into the Lyon County challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Northern Heights went down by Marais des Cygnes Valley (Melvern, KS), 2-0, in a league test.
The Railroaders now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elyria Christian for a Wheat State test on Tuesday, September 23. Herington will face a squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Berean Academy (Elbing, KS). The record now stands at 6-10.
