Georgia High School Volleyball - Rome overwhelmed by Calhoun
September 18, 2025: Rome, GA 30161 Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets (22-7) will now prepare for their challenge against LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Ramblers come into the 3A Area 7 challenge with a 27-8 record. In their last challenge, LaFayette lost by Calhoun (Calhoun, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
The Wolves (4-23) will now prepare for their game against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans go into the 5A Area 5 game with a 17-19 record. In their last outing, South Paulding lost by St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
