In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Central Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Northside Patriots.

The Lions (24-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA). The Cardinals come into the 4A Area 3 challenge with a 16-11 record. In their last challenge, Jonesboro lost by Kell (Marietta, GA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
