September 18, 2025: Chewelah, WA 99109 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Republic Tigers (Republic, WA) and the host Chewelah Cougars (Chewelah, WA), observed Republic's volleyball team top Chewelah by a count of 5-0.
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cusick (Cusick, WA). The Panthers go into the 1B Northeast battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Cusick dropped by Valley Christian (Spokane, WA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Cougars now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reardan for a 2B Bi-County battle on Tuesday, September 23. Chewelah will encounter a Screaming Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over St. George's (Spokane, WA). The Screaming Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
