Michigan High School Volleyball - Comstock can't get by Union City
September 18, 2025: Union City, MI 49094 Union City Chargers (Union City, MI) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Comstock Colts (Kalamazoo, MI), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Union City advances its record to 11-12 on the season. The Chargers host Springport (Springport, MI) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 2-4. Springport lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Homer (Homer, MI)
The Colts now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webberville for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 18. Comstock will play a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Novi Christian Academy (Novi, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 15-1.
