Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bancroft-Rosalie for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. Conestoga will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Winnebago (Winnebago, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Mercy drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Concordia (Omaha, NE) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, September 20.
