South Carolina High School Volleyball - Cross overwhelmed by St. John's
September 18, 2025: John's Island, SC 29455 St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cross Trojans (Cross, SC), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, St. John's improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Islanders travel to Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC) to face the Bobcats in a A Region 5 test on Tuesday, September 23. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 2-1. Baptist Hill lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Lowcountry Leadership (Hollywood, SC)
Next, the Trojans meet the Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC) in a A Region 5 challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-2 league win over St. John's (John's Island, SC).
