September 18, 2025: Winston-Salem, NC 27105 Winston Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting John Yowell Academy Panthers (High Point, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Winston Salem Christian improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Lions travel to Salem Academy (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Sabers in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Sabers go into the test with a record of 0-3. Salem Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC)
The Panthers now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triad Math and Science Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. John Yowell Academy will meet a Bengals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 2-8.
