The St. Edward's Pirates topped the host Merritt Island Christian Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Pirates face the Master's Academy Patriots (Vero Beach, FL) in a 1A District 8 game, on Monday, September 22. St. Edward's will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pine (Stuart, FL).
