In Monday's league battle, the host Lower Merion Aces volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers.

The Aces (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Fightin' Tigers encounter the Ridley Raiders (Folsom, PA) in a battle, on Monday, October 3. Marple Newtown will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
