September 19, 2022: Columbus, GA 31906 The Carver Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Jordan Red Jackets to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus for a 3A Area 1 game on Tuesday, September 20. Carver will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glenwood (Phenix City, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-15.
The Red Jackets (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers enter the 2A Area 2 game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Callaway gained a win over First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
