September 19, 2023: Bristol, VT 05443 Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT), 4-2 in a non-league outing.
With the win, Mt. Abraham moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT) to battle the Green Knights in a Lake outing on Friday, September 22. The Green Knights go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Rice Memorial won 5-0 in their recent league outing against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT)
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) in a SVL-A outing, on Saturday, September 23. Rutland will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 5-5 league Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT).
