Maryland High School Soccer - Meade knocks off Southern
September 19, 2023: Fort Meade, MD 20755 Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Old Mill Patriots (Millersville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Meade will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Glen Burnie (Glen Burnie, MD).
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Broadneck for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 21. Southern will confront a Bruins team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD). The Bruins record now stands at 6-2.
