September 19, 2023: Vinton, VA 24179 The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers topped the host William Byrd Terriers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside for a non-league test on Thursday, September 21. Lord Botetourt will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.
The Terriers (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Staunton River was knocked off by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
