Illinois High School Soccer - St. Francis de Sales trounced by Aurora Central Catholic
September 19, 2023: Aurora, IL 60506 In Tuesday's league game, the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting St. Francis de Sales Pioneers (Chicago, IL), by a final score of 9-0.
The Chargers (6-9) will now prepare for their game against St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Rita was overwhelmed by St. Francis (Wheaton, IL), 9-1, in a league challenge.
The Pioneers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to IC Catholic Prep for a Chicago Catholic challenge on Thursday, September 21. St. Francis de Sales will confront a Knights team coming off a 7-1 league win over Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.
