September 19, 2023: Stanford, KY 40484 Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Lexington Christian will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Madison Central (Richmond, KY).
The Patriots now have a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Jessamine for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 26.
