Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Mercer edged by Franklin
September 19, 2023: Mercer, PA 16137 The Franklin Knights held off the host Mercer Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Knights now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenville for a District 10 Region 3 test on Thursday, September 21. Franklin will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Titusville (Titusville, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-7.
The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Oil City (Oil City, PA). The Oilers enter the District 10 Region 3 test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Oil City was nudged by Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA), 3-0, in a league test.
