Iowa High School Volleyball - Union over Jesup
September 19, 2023: Jesup, IA 50648 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Union Knights (La Porte City, IA) and the host Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA), saw Union's volleyball squad beat Jesup by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Union upgrades its record to 19-4 on the year. The Knights host Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA) to play the Cougars in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-7.
The J-Hawks now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Jesup will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-14.
