The Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs topped the visiting Myrtle Point Bobcats volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Monarchs now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yoncalla for a 1A Skyline test on Thursday, September 21. Umpqua Valley Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

The Bobcats (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Powers (Powers, OR). The Cruisers enter the 1A Skyline test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Powers was knocked off by North Douglas (Drain, OR), 3-1, in a league test.
