Virginia High School Volleyball - Timberlake Christian edged by Covenant

September 19, 2023: Charlottesville, VA 22902

The Covenant Eagles held off the visiting Timberlake Christian Tornadoes volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Eagles now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredericksburg Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, September 21. Covenant will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.

The Tornadoes (11-2) will now prepare for their test against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons enter the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, New Covenant held off Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
