The Elkhorn North walloped the host Gretna Dragons football team by a score of 42-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the play the Blair Bears (Blair, NE) in a B District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Elkhorn North will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 41-14 non-league loss to Norris (Firth, NE).

The Dragons (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bennington (Bennington, NE). The Badgers go into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record.
